If you've been following me on ECHO Means Business or my own social media accounts, you know I was hesitant about landscaping battery-powered equipment. While I'm not switching gas-operated tools for battery ones, I recently incorporated the ECHO DCS-5000 chainsaw.

For the last couple of years, I've been using the Stihl MS 170 gas chainsaw for small jobs. But after it started having some mechanical issues, I thought it would be the right time to test something new. That's why I decided to try the ECHO DCS-5000 chainsaw.
