Today I want to share a quick pro tip on trailer safety.
Not sure if you’ve noticed, but when you make a turn with your trailer, the wheels will rotate inwards or outwards depending on the direction of the turn.
Because of this, my trailer’s manufacturer recommends that I rotate its wheels every time I’ve driven 500 miles. You want to make sure those wheels are rotating as they should be! Otherwise you run the risk of causing an accident.
If you want to take it a step further, try this: While you’re rotating your wheels, check your left and right bearings too and see if they need to be tightened, or even replaced.
Practicing these safety habits on a regular basis can go a long way in saving you time and money.
